Dear Sales Development Committee members,
The Sales Development Committee is pleased to announce the launch of an important new initiative for 2019: the Sales Support Alliance (SSA).
The purpose of the SSA is to harness the unrealized potential of our committee membership. We all have valuable knowledge and networks. The Alliance has been created to put those assets to work helping us all to boost our sales and grow our businesses.
The SSA takes the form of a series of regular monthly morning meetings at which members systematically share sales leads and introductions with those having matching requirements. Unlike a one-off networking event, the SSA will form an enduring community of selling professionals who build confidence and trust over time. This method has proven highly effective with other organizations. SSA sales leads and resulting new business will be tracked over time, with special recognition for top contributors of leads.
The monthly meetings will also be an opportunity for members to share sales-related expertise and to develop closer, more rewarding relationships than are possible at one-time events. The SSA will be led by its participating members, so everyone will have a voice in guiding and improving how the SSA is run.
SSA meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of every month, from 8a.m. in the ACCJ Boardroom and are open to all Sales Development Committee members. The next meeting will be September 17. Members are encouraged to bring guests who can both contribute to and benefit from our activities.
We want the Sales Development Committee to be about… well, developing sales for our members. We’re excited that the SSA will be doing just that. Join us at our second meeting and find out how the SSA can help grow your sales.
