In May of 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will take effect. The purpose of GDPR is to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the EU. It will impact companies, government agencies, non-profits, and other organizations that offer services to people in the EU, or that collect and analyze data tied to EU residents. Lack of compliance could lead to significant sanctions of up to 4% of total global annual turnover or EUR 20 million. Will your organization be able to comply? At this event, you will learn:
• A brief overview of GDPR
• Best practices for compliance
• GDPR case studies
• The impact of GDPR on innovation
