This seminar will cover common contractual problems in international construction projects in Japan or overseas, such as risk allocation, delays, BOQ increase, liability for defects and handling of disputes. We will explain the various interests of project participants involved in various contractual schemes such as EPC contracts, subcontracting and consortia. Particular reference is made to international standards issued by the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) and the Engineering Advancement Association of Japan (ENAA).
