Job Responsibilities:
This internship will give you the opportunity to gain a basic knowledge and understanding of general development practices and initiatives through hands-on involvement in areas in which we support.
This position will support work that is responsible for development of wind projects in Japan, due diligence support, scheduling and project management. Work duties, include research, data analysis, power point presentations and risk assessment across a broad range of energy issues, primarily in wind, solar and transmission.

Key Accountabilities
  • Summarize important outcomes of government committees and meetings
  • Develop inputs to financial models and analysis.
  • Assist development with project planning and scheduling
  • Develop internal / external presentations and briefs.
  • Support development activities and asset due diligence efforts.
  • Perform general research duties and analysis.
  • Participate in meetings with internal/external clients, if required.
  • Attend a site visit to a prospective wind site.
  • Completion of a formal internship presentation.
  • Other projects as assigned.

About the Team:
The Development team is seeking an intern to support the group. The role will work with and have exposure to various business functions, including finance, legal, development, and construction.

Compensation: Depends on experience

Qualifications:  
  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or related area having completed 3 years of course work or 1 year of MBA course work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express ideas effectively and fluently.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment where teamwork and independent work ethic are essential.
  • Ability to synthesize and organize large amounts of data.
  • Ability to organize time well and set proper priorities.
  • Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and presentation software.
