​Charles D. Lake II Receives the Order of the Rising Sun Award

The ACCJ congratulates Charles D. Lake II, ACCJ President Emeritus; President - Aflac International; and Chairman and Representative Director - Aflac Life Insurance Japan Ltd.; for being awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon (旭日中綬章), at the 2018 Spring Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals on April 29th. 

Mr. Lake was recognized for his contributions to promoting Japan’s insurance and financial industries as well as strengthening economic relations and promoting friendships between Japan and the United States.

The Order of the Rising Sun Award is one of the most prestigious awards bestowed to foreign nationals who have made significant contributions to promoting strong relations with Japan.
