Event Overview
If you are a US citizen and an independent business owner in Japan, you may be facing various tax challenges. Some you may know about, while others may be new. Both the United States and Japan require you to file reports and comply with tax laws. If you own a business in Japan, you should ask:
What’s new? Has anything changed as we begin 2020? Don’t make mistakes that could result in penalties and interest. At least learn your reporting obligations and what is needed to comply with US tax rules. This exclusive ACCJ Independent Business Committee tax information session—focused on tax compliance for Japan-based US businesses—is a great opportunity to get your house in order. Please take this brief survey prior to the event. The results will better enable the session to meet your needs as you seek to be tax compliant. He holds a master’s degree in International Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and has more than 25 years of global tax compliance and consulting experience, having worked in New York City, Tokyo, London, Silicon Valley, and Athens, Greece.
