Our first February Lunch event speaker is Sachiyo Onishi, Professor of Graduate school of Law at Ritsumeikan University. She will conduct a deep dive on United Nations' Women's Empowerment Principles Gender Gap Analysis Tool (WEPs Tool). It is a business-driven tool designed to help Global companies to assess gender equality performance across their workplaces, marketplaces, and communities around the world. Professor Onishi will walk us through the actual WEPs tool (digest version) as well as its applications, and its implementation significance to businesses.
This will be a highly interactive session and participants will be asked to take part in a web tool, so please bring your smart phones and/or laptop for smooth participation. The session language will be Japanese and simultaneous translation will be available. This will be an interesting session and we look forward to seeing you there.
