Event Overview
The ACCJ is pleased to welcome Ambassador James Zumwalt, CEO of Sasakawa Peace Foundation USA, back to the ACCJ for a session on what the U.S.-Japan relationship currently looks like from D.C. Given policy changes, increased tensions with allies, and dramatic outreach to rogue actors, the US.-Japan relationship is changing. Drawing upon his 36 year career in diplomacy and 18 months heading Washington’s only think tank devoted solely to U.S.-Japan relations, Ambassador Zumwalt will share his assessment of just how dramatic this change is. We hope you will join us at this discussion. Mari Matthews, Chair Yoshitaka Sugihara, Mark Davidson, Vice Chairs ACCJ Government Relations Committee NOTE 1: This event is OFF THE RECORD. NOTE 2: If you cancel after the stated deadline, the full meeting fee will be charged to your account. All guests must be accompanied by an ACCJ member. Sorry, no substitutions or walk-ins.
