3/8/2018 US Immigration & Visa Update: What Has Changed and What Remains The Same, As Well As What May Be Coming in 2018!Read Now
Event Overview:
In this important presentation we will gain insight into general visa issues and adjudication procedures at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo. Topics for discussion will include new policies, which although not specifically directed at Japanese companies or Japanese nationals, have been reported to create increased difficulties when entering the U.S. We are grateful to be able to have Mr. Clay Adler talk with us again about current and proposed changes by the Trump Administration to U.S. immigration regulations and policies. Mr. Adler provides important continuity as he has been following U.S. visa issues for a number of years. Mr. Adler will be accompanied by Ms. Sharon Ryan, the current E Visa Unit Chief, who will provide an update on E visa processing in Tokyo. Also joining the discussion will be Mr. Richard Goldstein, a U.S. immigration lawyer who works in New York and London and has become a valuable source of information for the ACCJ. We are sure that you will find the presentation to be useful and interesting. C. Christian Jacobson, Chair Nels Hansen, Catherine O’Connell, Vice Chairs ACCJ Legal Services Committee NOTE 1: This event is OFF THE RECORD. NOTE 2: If you cancel after the stated deadline, the full meeting fee will be charged to your account. All guests must be accompanied by an ACCJ member. Sorry, no substitutions or walk-ins.
