White & Case trade Partner Brendan McGivern will speak at the Tokyo American Club on Friday, August 25, starting at noon. McGivern will make a presentation on “Trump and Brexit: How the Changing Rules of International Trade will Affect Japan.” After his presentation there will be a general discussion of these key developments in international trade policy and what they mean for Japanese and U.S. companies. McGivern, who is based in Geneva, heads the World Trade Organization (WTO) practice of White & Case. He is a former senior legal advisor to the Canadian Permanent Mission to the WTO.
