9/1/2017 [Fully Booked] Transforming World Trade Through the Digitization of End-To-End ProceduresRead Now
Event Overview:
What if the process of global trade was fully electronic from end-to-end? In some seaports, we’re already there. Our speaker, Ian Kerr, CEO of Bolero, will detail life at the frontier of the digital disruption that is happening in trade processing. Bolero is one of only three companies certified to provide electronic documentation in cargo shipping. This means greater transparency, less risk, and improved processing times. In Japan, there is slower progress. Only a small percentage of ships coming into Yokohama Port use electronic Bills of Lading. Our speaker will describe their experience building a global platform, how to navigate the move to electronic documentation, the benefits to involved parties, the impact of emerging technologies and FinTech organizations and what a future digitized trade world could look like.
