Event Overview: Following the passage of the Integrated Resort Promotions Bill late last year, the central government, local governments, and private companies are all speeding up preparations to develop the first integrated resorts(IRs) in Japan. This comes as the government is looking at various ways to further increase tourism to Japan and grow the economy. Jim Murren, Chairman and CEO of MGM Resorts International, will share his views and insights on how IRs can contribute to sustainable travel, inbound tourism, regional revitalization, and economic growth in Japan. About the Speaker: Jim Murren was named Chairman and CEO of MGM Resorts International in December 2008. He leads a company of 77,000 employees operating 17 destination resorts in the U.S. and internationally. Mr. Murren also serves as chairman of MGM China Holdings Limited, which owns MGM Macau; and as chairman of MGM Growth Properties, a real estate investment trust. Seth R.
