7/24/2018 The Naked Autocrat: Myths and Misunderstandings about Leadership in the Uber-Connected WorldRead Now
Event Overview:
Join us for an insightful and interactive lunch session with the CEO of the ICLIF Leadership and Governance Centre, Rajeev Peshawaria, to share his insights on Leadership for the New Digital Era. In this talk, Rajeev will challenge conventional wisdom and practice around personal/organizational leadership and offer a very different perspective - one that is much more suited to today's hyper-connected age. Key messages include: -Positive autocracy must replace democratic leadership -Talent and innovation are abundant, not scarce -Early identification of high potentials is counter productive -Setting employees free to do as little as they want will increase productivity -Leadership energy trumps competencies and best practice case studies About the Speaker: Author of Too Many Bosses, Too Few Leaders (Simon & Schuster 2011), Be the Change (McGraw Hill 2014), Open Source Leadership (McGraw Hill 2017), and a regular writer for Forbes, Rajeev is the CEO of the Iclif Leadership & Governance Centre. Rajeev has been Chief Learning Officer of both Coca-Cola and Morgan Stanley and has formerly held senior positions at American Express and Goldman Sachs. He has been named one of the Top 100 Global Thought Leaders for Trustworthy Business by "Trust Across America," in 2014 and 2017.
