President Donald Trump famously promotes his negotiating tactics as a way to get the best deal. How will this work in trade negotiations and international relations? How will the Japanese and others respond? Negotiation theory and practice suggests that "getting to yes" is not always easy and requires careful planning and strategy.
You are invited to attend a panel discussion with two noted experts on international negotiations. The panelists will be Mr. Haig Oghigian, F.C.I.Arb. (Squire Patton Boggs) and Professor Jiro Tamura (Keio University), and Mr. Arthur Mitchell (White & Case LLP) will moderate the discussion. The objective of the discussion is to elucidate on the approaches that President Trump may take in negotiations on trade and other issues.
We are sure this will be an interesting event and hope to see you all there!
