Event Overview
It is never easy to keep one of the largest consumer products organizations successful in a very competitive market such as Japan. What are the core beliefs of the president when leading such an organization and empowering its employees, and how do they make a difference? In a fireside chat, Mr. Stanislav Vecera, President and Representative Director of Procter & Gamble (P&G) Japan K.K., will share his leadership stories and strong beliefs for success. Vecera will also talk about his leadership journey at P&G, including how he has developed his diverse perspective during a variety of global assignments in Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia. You will learn about his views on the Japanese market, including differences between it and other markets as well as the opportunities and challenges it presents. Please join us for this rare occasion to meet the charismatic and highly engaging leader of a prominent consumer products company in Japan. About the Speaker Stanislav Vecera is currently the President and Representative Director of Procter & Gamble (P&G) Japan K.K., having taken over the post in 2015. Vecera started his career at P&G more than 25 years ago in the Sales division in his home country of the Czech Republic. After successfully leading P&G expansion into African markets, he has, for the past four years, been growing P&G’s business in the challenging Japanese market with flat-to-declining categories in an aging population.
