Event Overview:
We are pleased to announce that this event is being sponsored by Pembroke Real Estate and co-hosted by BSA | The Software Alliance & The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan. Will cyber threats continue to expand in number and become more complex? Or, can we expect them to diminish and fade away? In the aftermath of recent cyber security attacks on Japanese organizations including SONY, Japan Pension System, Seven Bank, and the Japan Travel Bureau, digital technology continues to embed itself deeper and deeper into our lives, and organizations continue to evolve, grow, and change to realize the benefits that technology can provide. Cyber Security has become a top priority for the government, enterprise, academia and the media. According to Kyodo News, a Japan government survey, published in August 2015, showed that nearly 90 percent of respondents are concerned about possible cyber attacks on Japanese companies and government bodies. While cyber threats continue to proliferate on networks and websites, technology developers are motivated to innovate new technologies to protect organizational networks and information from malicious, unauthorized use by protecting data, managing data access, and protecting networks from internal and external threats. During this ACCJ event, a group of leading cyber security experts will share their views on market trends, the key cyber challenges we face, what organizations should keep in mind as they look to protect their networks and sensitive information, and the new types of threats looming on the horizon that we may soon face.
