Seminar on Amendment of Workers Dispatching Act in 2015
Last year, the Workers Dispatching Act in Japan was amended. Not only dispatching companies but also their clients have been affected by this amendment. For example, the new act abolishes the so-called "Exception of 26 Profession" which regulates the dispatching period in the unified standard, and it also obliges both dispatching companies and their clients to treat the dispatching employee in a balanced way. In addition, at the same time, regulations of so-called "Deemed Employment Contract Application" have been enacted, and the clients are required to prepare such difficult regulations. In this seminar, the speaker will illustrate such amendment and the issues which the clients need to prepare. Speaker: Yasumasa Sakamoto (Associate, Kitahama Partners) Yasumasa Sakamoto is an Attorney at Law (Japan and New York) at Kitahama Partners, He received his LL.B in 2004 and his J.D. in 2006 from Kyoto University.
