10/5/2016 Obrigado Rio! Konnichiwa Tokyo! Kick Off Luncheon for Olympic and Sports Business Committee MembersRead Now
Overview:
The Rio Olympics are over! The torch has been passed, and now begins the marathon race to Tokyo 2020. On the 52nd anniversary of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, which commenced on October 10, 1964, the ACCJ Olympic and Sports Business Committee would like to celebrate with its members the successful completion of the first Olympics in Latin America, and get "revved up" for the Olympiad's fourth visit to Japan, from July 24 to August 9, 2020. Come join us for this lunch meeting, where we will hear from the official spokesperson for Tokyo 2020, Ms. Hikariko Ono, who can provide a first-hand perspective on the 2016 Rio Olympics and Paralympics, as well as insight into plans for Tokyo 2020. As a committee, we will also share the goals of the Olympics and Sports Business Committee, our understanding of Tokyo 2020's goals, and the results of a survey we posed to you earlier in the year. Let's discuss the ways in which you want to contribute to making Tokyo 2020 the best Olympic Games ever held. Are you ready to take up the torch? Peter Jennings, Jonathan Kushner, Co-Chairs Phillip Rubel, Roy Tomizawa, Megumi Tsukamoto, David Wouters, Vice Chairs Jonathan Kushner, Board Liaison ACCJ Olympics and Sports Business Committee (Committee Coordinator: G.
