This event will be held in Japanese.
Simultaneous interpretation to English will be available.
We are pleased to host Einosuke Sumitani, founder of WDI Inc. (World Dining Inspirations Corporation), who will discuss how he has successfully determined which new concepts to bring from overseas and how to best introduce them to the Japanese market.
Mr. Sumitani transformed the restaurant industry in Japan by introducing popular American food restaurant chains, such as Kentucky Fried Chicken, Tony Roma’s and Hard Rock Café, to the Japanese market.
He retired as CEO of WDI Corporation in early 2003. After obtaining the franchise license for KidZania from Mexico, he successfully opened KidZania career theme parks in Tokyo in 2006 and in Koshien in 2009. At KidZania, children can experience being leaders, learn about society, and get to role-play as adults with real jobs using real-world tools and equipment.
At this event, he will share his personal leadership story and talk about the core elements leaders must have to successfully launch the services and products of other countries in Japan.
Please join us to learn from key events in Mr. Sumitani’s career and his unique expertise in effectively introducing foreign brands in Japan.
