This event is co-hosted by the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan.
Event Overview: Sustainability is poorly understood by many people in the investing community yet growth in sustainable investing is at an all-time high. There are many topics within sustainability covering diverse issues and agendas, such as climate-related disclosure, responsible investing, impact investing, superior risk adjusted investment performance, etc. The key issue might be that sustainability is, simply put, no longer a "nice to have" but a "must have." Those without a strategy to address these opportunities may be left behind. This panel will address these topics by discussing ESG investment issues from a holistic perspective, i.e. a fund investor, an ESG ratings company, and from the corporate perspective. These panelists will address each section from their particular spheres of influence to highlight best investing practices and to discuss where ESG trends and regulations affecting the investing community are headed in the future.
