10/23/2018 [Fully Booked] How Robots and AI are Radically Changing Business Operating ModelsRead Now
Event Overview:
Today white collar work finds itself consumed by the potential of automation, and artificial intelligence. The potential to move current slow, form intensive, operational processes and tasks into an environment where “digital workers” sit side-by-side with traditional employees has arrived. Japan is a buzz with directives from the very top of government for the need of work style reform. The challenge of addressing these directives, in tandem with macro-economic issues associated with an aging labor force have forced companies to look beyond traditional IT projects to solve the problem. Robotic Process Automation (RPA), is a foundation technology, that enables large enterprises to establish a 3rd pool of labor, that can act as the nervous system for the establishment of an organisation leveraging the potential of artificial intelligence. Paul Watts, head of Blue Prism Japan, will talk about the current strategic challenges and opportunities that are opening up as a result of the latest wave of AI driven technology, combined with insight into the major considerations that corporations need to consider (eg: managing compliance, security, audit, etc). A particular focus will be about the Japanese trends around work style reform, and some of unique challenges happening across Japan. Blue Prism is one of the pioneers of this marketplace and responsible for the creation of the term RPA. Headquartered in the UK, Blue Prism evolved leveraging the high percentage of back office outsourcing prevalent there to expand into other markets, rapidly partnering with leading global IT partners.
