A Portfolio Director for International Policy and Strategy at MITRE (a US Federally-Funded Research & Development Center), Barbara Grewe is a former federal prosecutor for the District of Columbia and was Senior Council to the U.S. 9/11 Commission. Ms. Grewe is currently the lead manager for MITRE’s effort in support of NISC’s strategic risk assessment program in preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Ms. Grewe will discuss her impressions of Government of Japan progress in promoting cybersecurity in Japan. Before assuming this role, she was detailed to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) where she served as a Senior Director on the FBI 9/11 Review Commission. Ms. Grewe is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, Oxford University (Rhodes Scholar), and Wellesley College.
