Event Overview
One of the speakers has been changed. 日本語のイベントご案内はこちらをご覧ください。 Join us for the ACCJ-Chubu’s Independent Business Committee panel discussion on starting a business in the creative and comfortable atmosphere of Nagoya Innovator’s Garage. The four-person panel will cover issues and situations that people encounter when they establish any business in Japan. Aichi Prefecture’s gross domestic product is now the second largest in Japan, and the entire Chubu region has seen steady growth for more than a decade. Chubu continues to be a fertile and dynamic region for startups of all kinds. Those starting up a business venture will usually have limited resources and will encounter choices and issues that make the first steps very critical to survival and growth. Our panel, which includes a lawyer, a judicial scrivener, a notary public, and a tax accountant, will guide the discussion through three common scenarios to cover the issues and situations people encounter when establishing a business. Topics such as the pros and cons of the business types available in Japan, tax concerns, labor issues, and more will be addressed. After the discussion, there will be time for questions from the audience. Please join us to get the lowdown on startups in this unique and very valuable session. The panel discussion will be followed by drinks and light food, offering a great chance to meet other members of the ACCJ and Nagoya Innovator’s Garage.
