Event Overview:

Over the next 5 years to 10 years, technological disruption, stricter ESG requirements, talent shortages, the growing impact of AI and robotics, and climate change are just some of the major challenges that will lead to disruption on a scale most of us have never seen or experienced. You can create strategies and contingency plans to mitigate the impact of potential crises and changes, but does your workforce have the ability to cope with the disruption, and the right mindset to implement your plans and strategies?

As Peter Drucker's well-known quote says: "Culture eats strategy for breakfast". Developing a culture of resilience among employees at every level of the organization will be key to giving your strategies a fighting chance of success.

There is a group of often-overlooked people who have created successful businesses under conditions of extreme duress. War zone refugees who have escaped harsh and extremely dangerous environments succeed in starting and growing businesses in unfamiliar environments where they are not well received by mastering resilience and creativity.

In collaboration with RIJ, an organization that works with and supports such individuals around the world, we have analysed and cataloged the strategies they use to overcome adversity and adapt to new circumstances. Using their success stories, we will show you how you can implement simple but effective frameworks to build the resilience your employees will need in the face of the coming challenges.
