Russell Reynolds, a business icon and pioneer in the executive search industry, founded one of the big five global search firms, Russell Reynolds Associates, in 1969. He then formed RSR Partners in 1999, where he serves as Chairman. In 2012, Mr. Reynolds published Heads, a book that recounts the story of his journey from 1969 to present. Mr. Reynolds has counseled chairmen, presidents and CEOs of a wide range of companies.
At this event, Mr. Reynolds will give us a personal view of the executive search industry, flavored with anecdotes and personal stories from a lifetime of success. Participants will also get a chance to ask questions to help demystify this somewhat misunderstood industry.
Some of the areas Mr. Reynolds will touch upon:
-Trends in the executive search industry
-How to grow your firm into a global powerhouse
-How to leverage executive search both as a client and as a candidate (including Japan's need for more women in leadership roles)
-How executive search firms find candidates
-How to recruit board members (including the global and Japan focus on more women on boards)
-Benefits of retained search vs. contingency
