7/9/2019 Cybersecurity Basics: Identifying Threats and Protecting Your Assets (Chubu Event)Read Now
Event Overview
Every day, you are bombarded by suspicious emails. For the most part, you just ignore them. But what happens when you let your guard down and one gets through? This is but one of the daily cybersecurity-related concerns faced by companies big and small. If you have information online that is core to your business, odds are that someone out there is trying to get it. That someone could be just a curious kid trying to show off what they can do, or a well-funded criminal entity that makes a profit from peddling stolen information. This discussion will cover the basics of how to identify threats and how to best protect your information. About the Speaker Benjamin Eichhorn is a cybersecurity specialist working at aerospace company Lockheed Martin in Nagoya, Japan. He has a wide range of IT and security experience, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a prestigious certification in the field of cybersecurity.
