Event Overview:
Want to motivate your sales team in Japan to work faster, be more pro-active, think more strategically and communicate more persuasively? In this interactive workshop intercultural trainer Jon James Lynch lays out the cultural gaps to understand and overcome for sales leaders who are looking to adapt their proven global best practices to Japan’s team-based, relationship-oriented business culture. In his work with dozens of leading international companies, Mr. Lynch has found that Japanese sales teams succeed not by suppressing their traditional practices and behaviors, but by harnessing their existing strengths in a robust new cross-cultural framework. He will discuss some illuminating case studies and share specific sales training and motivation techniques that work in Japan. Participants will learn through hands-on practice how to help Japanese sales teams: • Build a positive, proactive-mindset • Accelerate sales by speeding up internal processes • Adopt a consultative, value selling style • Run effective sales meetings in which all members contribute • Interact more effectively with global colleagues Who should attend: • Sales Directors / Sales Managers / Account Managers • Sales Representatives • Anyone who would like to learn how to motivate Japanese team members and create an effective multi-cultural working style. This workshop session will be in English. A Japanese-language session will be held on July 11 at 6:30p.m. A separate notice will go out about the Japanese workshop session. About the Speaker: Jon James Lynch heads J-Global Institute, a training and facilitation organization that helps global companies succeed in Japan’s team-based work culture, and works with Japanese companies to globalize for success overseas.
