"Getting things done” outside your home culture is critical to global business success. This interactive presentation will look at the impact of culture on leadership and communication based on the Hofstede 6-Dimension cross-cultural model. Dr. Hofstede describes national culture as “a programming of the mind” that begins at birth. Awareness of how the 6-D cultural values compare amongst countries will provide participants with new perspectives to effectively build trust and engage people in their organizations.
This session offers insights to Japanese and non-Japanese about how culture influences today's diverse working environment.
