Event Overview:

The healthcare industry is fast approaching fundamental challenges - straining governmental budgets, passing of responsibilities to local governments, enabling advances in technology and connectivity, shifting from treatment to wellness and prevention, and the consumer's growing desire for empowerment.  The core theme of these changes is recognizing and taking steps toward a connected future healthcare eco-system with the consumer and patient at the center.

In a moderated panel discussion format, ACCJ leaders and representatives of the Union of Kansai Governments (UKG or Kansai Kouiki Rengou) will discuss how government and business can begin collaborating to create a revolution aimed at personalizing wellness and healthcare and putting more choices and decisions in the hands of consumers and patients.

The panel discussion will be followed by a reception hosted by the ACCJ.
