Event Overview:
Scott Olsen is the Senior Vice President for Federal Advocacy at Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). In this capacity he leads PhRMA’s federal government affairs initiatives on Capitol Hill. Scott will give an overview of the current atmosphere on the Hill and how working with Congress has/has not changed since President Trump took office. In addition, Scott will discuss key initiatives related to the US healthcare system, including what is happening with the Affordable Care Act (otherwise known as "Obamacare") and other key issues of importance to the pharmaceutical industry.
