Soichiro Masuoka, Executive Director of Tekko Building, Co. Ltd., will talk about his experience redeveloping one of Tokyo's largest mixed-use complexes. Completed in October 2015, the 117,000 m2 of gross floor area adjacent to Tokyo Station contains offices, serviced apartments, retail, restaurants, conference facilities, and a bus terminal. Originally built in 1951 by his grandfather, Mr. Masuoka led the 10-year redevelopment, including tenant relocation, planning, design, financing, and construction at a total project cost of more than $600 million.
This event will include a site tour with beautiful night views of Tokyo, presentation by Mr. Masuoka, and networking time, including Real Estate Committee organizational activities.
