The Chubu Walkathon, sponsored by the American Chamber of Commerce, has brought together donor/sponsor companies, organizations, associations, NPOs, and the like to give opportunities and open doors to a better life for orphans and the physically and mentally challenged.
This year is the 25th Charity Walkathon that was originally initiated by the Chubu Chapter in 1992. Join us to meet the challenge for the "25 in 25" initiative by participating in this year's ACCJ Charity Golf Tournament--an extension of the Walkathon, hosted by the Business Programs Committee. "25 in 25" is an initiative to raise 25 million yen in donations this year which would represent a 100% increase in overall donations received. It's a big goal but definitely possible with your support and participation. Why not hit two birds with one stone? Enjoy a game of golf in the company of colleagues, business partners, friends, spouses, and children while contributing to the cause? This is open to everyone whether or not you play well. You can participate regardless of your skill level, gender, or age. The goal is to contribute your time and energy for the greater good. Join us on Friday, May 20, at the Grace Hills Country Club in Yokkaichi, Mie (http://www.gracehills.jp/) tee off at 10 a.m. A fun-filled day is guaranteed! *The Participation Fee of 30,000 yen per person includes a contribution/donation to the Walkathon, golf play fee, morning coffee, lunch, and party with 1 drink after the game. Ray Proper, Chair Andy Boone, Felix Busch, Co-Vice Chairs Sean O'Connell, Secretary ACCJ Chubu - Business Program Committee NOTE: If you cancel after the stated deadline, the full meeting fee will be charged.
